All behaviour consultations are done as part of the vet led team, before we arrange a visit there will be a free 30 minute phone call to discuss which consultation type you need.
Behaviour assessment on vet request for one specific issue, £100
To include,
Full history of behaviour
Report including;
Behaviour motivation
Environment and management review
Training recommendations
Follow ups for any specific training, £60 per hour.
Fear of vets/injections or farrier, £140

Full Behaviour Consultation for multiple, complex or high risk behaviour £200
A full behaviour consultation for multiple behaviour issues involves a 1.5 to 2 hour visit to your yard with you and your horse. During this time a full history will be taken and an assessment of your horses behaviour will occur. If required a bit and bridle consultation will also occur.
Included is;
A long and short term plan to reduce or resolve your horses behaviour will be discussed and a full behaviour report with behaviour modification plan will be developed and shared with you. Be aware that complex behaviours may be difficult to resolve.
An initial follow up visit to monitor progress and discuss any alterations to the behaviour modification plan, phone and online support for 12 weeks following the report.
Follow up training visits are offered at £60 an hour, discounts are available for a 6 visit follow up package.
In person cost in Cornwall £180.

Independent Bit and Bridle consultation, inc bitless
Assessment of current bit and bridle combination, assessment under saddle, bridle adjustment and new bits tried as required.
The fit of the bridle is a crucial factor for a comfortable horse who is able to move effectively through their body. A bit will influence the entire movement of a horse and a fit alteration or bit change can impact on hind end engagement and oral evasive behaviours. If you are considering bitless I can advise on fit, action and transition to bitless.

Within Cornwall is £60 and Devon £65, out of these areas a travel charge will be discussed. Devon is done on an area day basis only, so 4 horses or more will need to be confirmed with deposits before the day.
